NVDA Install

Overview

NVDA is a free, open‑source screen reader for Windows. It can be downloaded directly from the NV Access website and installed with administrative privileges when required.

Installation Steps

1. Download NVDA

   • Navigate to the official NVDA download page: https://www.nvaccess.org/download/

2. Move Installer to Local Directory

   • Save or move the downloaded NVDA installer file to: C:\temp

3. Run the Installer

   • Launch the installer from C:\temp.

   • When prompted for administrative credentials, authenticate using Passman.

4. Restart if Required

   • If the installer prompts for a system restart, proceed with the reboot to complete the installation.
