Any items that are found or turned in as LOST & FOUND should be handled as follows:
- Retrieve item and give to a Full Time Employee and post in FTE Processing teams that Item was turned in (i..e wallet found in men's bathroom and turned in by John Doe)
- FTE will reach out to UPD to have items picked up.
- Once item has been picked up, FTE will respond to post as device picked up (i.e. Wallet picked up by officer John Doe).
If someone comes into the Service Desk looking for a lost item, do the following:
- Post in FTE processing to ask if an item has been turned in or found.
- FTE will notify technician if turned in or not.
- FTE will follow proper identification procedures before turning device over to person.
