Epson Scan Installation

Epson Scan is a document and image scanning application that works with Epson scanners and multifunction printers to capture, edit, and save scanned content to a computer. The software allows users to scan documents, photos, receipts, and other media while adjusting settings such as resolution, color, file format, and image quality.

 

Software Installation

  1. Run the executable to begin the installation. At the EPSON Scan Setup welcome screen — 'This setup program will install EPSON Scan on your computer. Press Next to continue.' — click Next to continue.
  2. At the License Agreement screen (Seiko Epson Corporation — Software License Agreement), review the agreement carefully. Check I accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement, then click Next.
  3. A Windows Security dialog will appear asking: 'Would you like to install this device software?' Name: EPSON Imaging devices | Publisher: SEIKO EPSON Corporation. Click Install to proceed.
  4. Once the installation has completed, the EPSON Scan Setup completion screen will appear: 'EPSON Scan was successfully installed. Click Finish, then connect the scanner to your computer according to the instructions in the scanner's documentation.' Click Finish to close the setup window.

Post-Install Action Required: After clicking Finish, connect the Epson scanner to the computer following the instructions provided in the scanner's hardware documentation.
