To learn how to schedule a meeting in Outlook, watch this brief video or follow the step-by-step guide below.
Step-by-step Instructions:
- Select Calendar from the Navigation Pane at the bottom.
- From the Home Tab, select New Meeting.
- In the new window that looks like an e-mail, enter the title of the meeting (what the meeting will be discussing).
- Enter who is being invited to the meeting.
- Select Start and End date and time.
- Enter meeting location or if it is a Zoom meeting, the location will already be included.
- Review the suggested meeting times. If the invitees are SHSU faculty, staff, or students using Outlook, it will check their calendars for available meeting slots.
- Send the meeting invite.
Note: The Suggested Times feature looks to the recipient's calendar for conflicts. If a recipient does not keep an up to date calendar with Outlook, this feature will display inaccurate information.
