Outlook: Scheduling Assistant (Windows)

Summary

This article explains how to use the Outlook Scheduling Assistant for Windows.

Body

The Scheduling Assistant helps you check availability to schedule meetings. Similar to the Suggested Times feature, it reviews the availability of those invited to the meeting.

To get started using the Scheduling Assistant, select Scheduling Assistant in the meeting invite.

The availability options are indicated at the bottom of the assistant. To determine the best meeting times, the scheduler can review:

  1. The table that indicates free times for those invited to the meeting
  2. The Suggested times features

Once a time is determined and selected from the table or the suggested times, the scheduler can send the invite using the Send option or review the meeting invitation again by selecting Meeting from the toolbar.

If meeting is selected, the meeting invite will display with the selected start and end times displayed. Once the invite is reviewed and all information is included, the invite can be sent.
