Campus Connect & Outlook Integration: Calendar-Integration_O365
The University has moved from on-premise email hosting to cloud storage. This transition has affected the calendar syncing feature with the Campus Connect platform. To integrate your calendars, you will need to be logged into Campus Connect using Google Chrome browser through your mySam account.
Troubleshooting/Workaround/Solution:
- If you notice a number of tickets being placed for access issues, it would be helpful to check to make sure that there haven’t been any changes on SHSU’s side to the SSO account/link or for other systemic or network issues;
- If there are no systemic or network issues, or for individual requests, please close out the ticket and refer the user to email campusconnect@shsu.edu with as much detail as possible (screen shots are usually helpful, too).
- Most of the “problems”reported by users are related to access:
o Students who cannot access the platform are typically those who have been recently accepted, who haven’t set up their SHSU email account; or who haven’t been in the system for the 24-48 hours or so for all the auto-permissions to roll into place;
