What is it?
The application contains templates and form directions for the received input/output. This program simply reads an input file and creates a well formatted output. It does have the functionality to query the Banner database and get additional information, but it must begin with an input file. Banner talks to FormFusion via Evilp.
What does the Service Desk need to know?
Form Fusion is used by placing a ‘Special Print Parameter’ into the job submission within INB. When submitting a ticket and referencing a Form Fusion error, please include this Special Print Parameter and the Banner Job Number. This is used to print tax forms, PO's, and Transcripts.
How do you check on this system?
Form fusion can be accessed via the web at evisions (-dev).shsu.edu and selecting FormFusion. MAPS Configuration is used to ensure the server and services are operating as expected. Launching the log file (see Evisions check) is the best place to begin troubleshooting.
