BearKatBuy - Jaggaer ePROCUREMENT SOLUTION
Jaggaer is a shopping and purchasing eProcurement platform which was purchased by SHSU and other TSUS parts to be shared as a consortium. Each campus will have a marketplace with some of their own Punch-out and hosted catalogs, but many will be shared consortium catalogs within the Texas State University System. Authorized SHSU shoppers can sign into BearKatBuy (SHSU’s name for the Jaggaer marketplace) where they can do self-service comparison and purchasing from a selection of contracted suppliers.
Troubleshooting
- Problem - User unable to login
- Solution
- Perform basic browser troubleshooting (reset browser, clear cache, try different browser etc)
- Make sure they are logging in with username (not username@shsu.edu)
♦ For technical issues or if it is somehow 'broken', please submit ticket to Enterprise Solutions > Administrative Software Team.
♦ For access requests, the customer can be referred to the purchasing department which is preferred or submit a ticket to Enterprise Services.
♦ For How-To's and other functional inquiries, refer customer to either their departments purchaser or to the procurement and business services department for assistance.
-- The user can reach the procurement department either via email at procurement@shsu.edu or by calling their main number at 936-294-1894 where the admin will refer them to an available staff member.
-- To access Bearkat Buy, go to MySam > Employee tab > BearkatBuy Shopping channel and click on Access to BearkatBuy. It is recommended that all clients go through training via Talent Management before accessing the system.
