When you contact the Service Desk for assistance, you may be asked to provide the node name for your computer. The node name allows IT staff to access details about your computer to better assist you. Follow the directions below to locate the node name for your Mac.
- Open System Preferences.
- Select Sharing.
- The node name is the Computer Name.
