Before You Begin

Explore existing solutions. IT manages SHSU's technology infrastructure, software applications, and networks to keep campus operations running smoothly and securely. Review the Service Catalog today to find out if the technical support or services you need are already actively provided by the university.

Still not sure what you need? Submit an IT request to consult with a Business Analyst. They’ll guide you from idea to implementation.

Get Started

Still can't find what you need? Complete the Technology Acquisition Request Form by making a request for IT review prior to acquiring or renewing.

Submit your request at least 90 days prior to your acquisition or renewal date.

When approved, you will receive a Technology Acquisition Approval to attach to your BearkatBuy requisition.

Procurement

Procure your technology according to university procurement policies and procedures.

Attach your Technology Acquisition Approval to your BearKatBuy requisition.

Deployment

Once procurement is complete, work with IT to receive and begin using your technology.
