1. Log into My Sam
2. Select the Employees Tab
3. Under the Human Resources channel, click Talent Management
4. View Transcript in order to see what training you have completed and incomplete
5. You can browse for all other trainings offered by going to Learning menu and select Browse for Training. For more info, click here.

Talent Management is supported by Human Resources. Issues outside of logging in should be directed to the owner of the training that is sought or the Human Resources office 936-294-1070 or hrtraining@shsu.edu.
The preferred browser is Edge (PCs) or Safari (Macs). Run through the basic browser troubleshooting first with the client.
We do not install Flash but we should double check to make sure it's enabled.

NEW EMPLOYEES/ TEMPORARY LOGINS:
For new staff & faculty, Human Resources sends the new employee an email to access their training with a temporary login before their role changes. For the temporary login information, refer the client to the email they received or HR.
Effective 11/01/2021, SHSU Online has made the LinkedIn Learning Library (http://linkedinlearning.shsu.edu) available to all staff and faculty in addition to students at SHSU. The library contains a vast array of training courses suitable to meet your annual professional development needs.
It’s easy to access the LinkedIn Learning library. Just click the link in this email, or type in the URL directly: http://linkedinlearning.shsu.edu. You may be prompted to log into My Sam with your credentials. From there, you’ll go directly into the LinkedIn Learning library, where you can browse the catalog or search for keywords in the search field at the top of the page to select the courses you want.
Courses completed in the LinkedIn Learning library do not automatically transfer to your transcript in Talent Management. Therefore, you should enter them as external training into Talent Management if you wish to document your annual professional development credit (see Finance & Operations Human Resources Policy B-5 Employee Development).
