Use the following checklist when a client comes to pick up a loaner laptop.
- Locate ticket
- Verify identity
- Retrieve loaner laptop
- Confirm orange tag of device

Mac
- Sign in to device with Mac Laptop password
- Connect device to Eduroam
- Assist client with resetting DEVICE password in Apple Settings
- Inform user that IT is not able to retrieve password in the even they forget the password
- Direct client to Self-Service for software requests
- Inform user to backup files to OneDrive.

Windows
- Follow procedures in KA 20377 under STANDARD CONFIGURATION.
- Have users sign in to device with SHSU credentials
- Direct client to Software Center for software installs
- Inform client to save all files to OneDrive. Any items in DOCUMENTS, DOWNLOADS, PICTURES, etc are not automatically backed up to the S drive.
