The Client Center for Configuration Manager tool is used mostly for Installing or “Pushing” software to a Node directly. The Available software to install is dependent upon what Active Directory groups the Node is currently a member of.
Installation of Client Center
Note: The Installation and use of the Client Center Configuration Manager (CCCM) is restricted to IT Personnel and used almost exclusively by Managed Applications and Service Desk. Users without a Server Administrator account will be unable to use this program.
1.Add the Node to the following Active Directory (AD) group:
a.SW_RZander_Client_Center_for_Configuration_Manager_1.0.6.1_Stabl
b.“Stabl” is not a typo
• After the Node’s Policies have updated, the Client Center for Configuration Manager should be installed on the machine overnight or during the next install window.
a.If the Software does not install, it should be available to install via the Software Center
b.Alternatively, the Software may be “Pushed” by another Client Center for Configuration Center Manager user.
c.If the Software is unavailable to be installed via the Software Center or Pushed, initiate a policy update for the node.
d.Open an Elevated Command Prompt, type “gpupdate /force” without the quotes, and hit “enter”. Restart the computer after the policy has been updated.
1.Verify the policy update was successful by typing “gpresult” in the Elevated Command Prompt and hit “enter”
Installing “Pushing” Software to a Node

a.Right click the Desktop Application Icon and select “Run as Administrator”
b.You will need to enter your Server Administrator Account Username (<Username>_1) and Password.
